Book Review! (kinda)

Ok, here's my first book review.....

The Lightning Thief


This book is really good and action packed. It's about a boy named Percy Jackson who finds out that he is a demigod ( half-human, half-god ). His father is Poseidon, god of the seas. Because of the fact the monsters are chasing him ( monsters like the Minotaur, etc. ), he goes to Camp Half-Blood. He finds out that his best friend, Grover, is a satyr. Big surprise. Then, when Percy and his mother, Sally Jackson, go on vacation, the Minotaur chases them, and Percy is forced to go to Camp Half-Blood. One thing though, his mom is a mortal, and can't go through the gate to the camp. Find out what happens to Percy and his friends.


Dreamdark: Blackbringer


This book is about a faerie named Magpie Windwitch who travels with crows: Bertram, Swig, Maniac, Pigeon, Pup, and Calypso. When a mysterious devil escapes its bottle, leaving the Djinn King's seal, and some human slippers behind, Magpie quickly tracks the devil across the world.
One thing though, the book is set in the old times, so they say things like: Lasses and lads, Skive,
irkmeat skiving murks, etc.
